2025 Dining Distinction Award: Sally Little, CDM, CFPP

June 23, 2025

The Dining Distinction Award honors a member that has contributed significantly to the health and well-being of individuals while providing an optimal dining experience, including the nutritional value of food, presentation, the environment in which food is served, and interactions with clients.

Sally Little, CDM, CFPP, is currently the Dietary Manager at the Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody, Massachusetts. With more than 22 years of experience in senior nutrition and foodservice across the North Shore, Sally combines culinary expertise with a deep commitment to resident-centered care.

After earning her degree in culinary arts, Sally went on to achieve her CDM, CFPP credential in 2021. She has since become a leader in IDDSI implementation and dysphagia compliance, advocating for hands-on training to ensure safe and satisfying dining experiences for all.

Sally is known for fostering an open, inclusive, and joyful environment for residents, staff, and families. She leads with compassion and initiative—organizing cooking groups, coordinating large-scale facility events, and designing meaningful recognition programs. Her belief that “healing starts here” is evident in every detail of her work, from nutritious, home-style meals to the personal connections she builds.

Her passion for healthcare and nutrition was inspired by her grandmother Pricilla, now 91, who helped raise her and currently resides in a local nursing home. Sally’s energy, leadership, and unwavering positivity make her a true asset to the field and those she serves.

Congratulations to this year’s Dining Distinction recipient, Sally Little, CDM, CFPP!
