New CMS Regulations Part II, New F-tags Deficiencies Scope & Severity
This is part one of two webinars on the CMS Regulations Phase II. Once again Nov. 28, 2017 brings new rules to LTC facilities, an entirely new numbering system for Survey Deficiencies known as F-tags. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) updated the F-tags to correspond with the new regulatory sections implemented through the roll-outs of Phase I & II of the Reform of Requirements for Long-term Care Facilities referred to as the ROP’s (Requirements of Participation) updating the Medicare/Medicaid conditions of participation.
